Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
Our school near Stamford, CT is in need of a Full-Time COTA to start as soon as possible.This is a w2 contract opportunity and active CT licensure is required.
What You Will Do:
- Respond to requests for service and screens individuals to determine need for referral and intervention
- Gather and interpret data to evaluate student needs as a basis for treatment planning
- Monitors student response to intervention and modifies strategies as indicated to attain goals
- Document evaluation results, treatment and follow-up
- Assist in developing transition plans for students moving to other environments
- Work cooperatively with personnel and/or agencies providing services to the student or family
- Participate in professional growth activities in special education and in pediatric occupational therapy
Required Education, Credentials and Experience:
- Active CT COTA Licensure
- Experience with school aged kids/PEDS is required
